Heavenly Father,

We come before you today with hearts yearning for an increase in faith in your beloved Son, Jesus Christ. We recognize that faith is a precious gift from you, and we humbly ask for a deepening of our trust in both His person and His saving work on the cross. Help us to hold onto the unshakable truth that in Him, we find eternal life and the forgiveness of our sins.

Lord, we confess that at times we have allowed the concerns of this world to overshadow our devotion to you. We have been hesitant to boldly proclaim the gospel for fear of ridicule, rejection, or being seen as out of touch. Yet, your Word reminds us in Romans 1:16 that we are not to be ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes. Grant us the courage and conviction to stand firm in our faith, regardless of popularity or worldly opinions.

In the face of a world that may misunderstand or even mock us, let us remember the words of Jesus in Mark 8:38: “If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.” Lord, we do not want to be ashamed of you, but rather, we want to proudly declare your name and share the life-changing message of salvation with those around us.

Father, you have called us to be ambassadors of your Kingdom, sharing the good news of Christ’s love and sacrifice with a world that desperately needs it. Fill us with a burning desire to evangelize and make disciples, just as Jesus commanded us in Matthew 28:19-20. Help us to see the people around us with your eyes and to long for them to experience the transformative power of your grace.

Even in the midst of trials and sufferings, remind us of the words of the apostle Paul in Romans 8:18: “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.” Lord, as we face challenges and difficulties, may we hold onto the hope of the glory that awaits us in your presence. Let our sufferings only deepen our dependence on you and our anticipation of the eternal joy that is to come.

As we write this prayer for our website blog, may it serve as a source of encouragement and inspiration to all who read it. May it ignite a fire within their hearts to boldly and unashamedly follow Christ, to share the gospel without reservation, and to endure whatever trials may come their way, knowing that your promises are true and unwavering.

In Jesus’ precious name, we pray.

Amen.
